A 25-year-old victim ended his night downtown without pants after he was robbed of his car and possessions near 12th Street, according to a Columbus Police report.
The victim told police he left a bar on Broadway at about 3 a.m., Sunday and made his way back to his car. Near the intersection of First Avenue and 12th Street, two men allegedly came toward him, pointing a gun.
That's when the suspects demanded his pants, which contained about $400 in cash, and the keys to his green 2000 Ford Explorer. The tag number of the vehicle was 57C49V7.
However, police reported that the victim was unable to give descriptions of the suspects. There was also no information about which way they went once they stole the vehicle, or a description of the gun.
Police have not developed any suspects or other witnesses for this case. Anyone with additional information about the suspects or the whereabouts of the Ford Explorer should call 706 653 3400.
Three victims were threatened at gunpoint at a residence on the 2900 block of First Avenue during an attempted robbery on May 2. Nothing was taken during the incident, and though victims were able to describe the suspects, police were unable to make any arrests.
