Police arrested 42-year-old Cordele Johnson Monday after discovering he was in possession of crack cocaine, according to a Columbus Police report.
Johnson was stopped near the intersection of Fort Benning Road and Trask Drive; a reason for the stop was not given.
When he was searched, officers found 0.1 grams of crack cocaine and a glass smoking device in his possession. Information about what led police to search Johnson to begin with was unavailable. However, he was found to be in violation of probation, according to the Muscogee County Jail website.
A police representative was not available to speak about the report Tuesday morning.
Johnson was charged with possession of drug related objects and possession of crack cocaine. He was taken to the jail.
