Columbus State University ranks No. 92 among regional universities in the South, according to U.S. News & World Report rankings released Sept. 10.
Last year, CSU ranked No. 91. It marked the first time the magazine ranked CSU as one of the top 100 regional universities in the South.
In CSU's category, there was a two-way tie for No. 1 this year. Elon University (Elon, N.C.) and Rollins College (Winter Park, Fla.) tied for the distinction.
