Three people in LaGrange, Ga. are suspected of trafficking methamphetamine. One has been arrested and arrest warrants have been issued for the other two.
According to a police report, the three are Anthony Moore, 28, of Newnan, Ga., Gene Thomas, 46, of LaGrange and Amber Tucker of LaGrange.
During the past several months, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's West Metro Drug Force, the LaGrange Police Department's Special Investigations Unit and the Troup County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit have been investigating a possible high level methamphetamine distributor in LaGrange.
Wednesday, officers went to 304 D Hill Street with warrants for Thomas and Tucker who reside there.

When officers arrived they came in contact with Moore who attempted to flee the scene on foot. Police say he was found to be in possession of 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine. He was arrested.
Moore and Thomas were not at home. A search warrant was obtained and executed. Police say 18.5 ounces of methamphetamine valued at $56,000 was found, as well, as $15,000 in cash.
Police have arrest warrants for Thomas and Tucker.
