An Icehouse beer was the prize sought in a knife fight between two Grand Oak Mobile Park men Thursday night, according to a Columbus Police report.
The 55-year-old victim told police the dispute began at about 9 p.m., when he began arguing with 55-year-old Thomas Amaker at the 4325 Old Cusseta Road mobile park.
The victim refused to give Amaker an Icehouse beer he requested. In response, Amaker allegedly punched the victim and cut him on the elbow with a yellow box cutter.
Police reported that Amaker admitted to cutting and hitting the victim. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail and charged with aggravated assault.
