In the world of covering government shutdowns, news agencies across the country have taken very different strategies.
Most mix the news with some commentary. Some are strickly business with an ominous ticking clock tracking the hours, minutes and seconds since it was shut down. (I'm lookin' at you CNN.) And then you can always count on the tabloids to give you quite a bit of humor to perhaps relieve some of this stress.
Here are a few of our favorite tweets covering the government shutdown, which include, of course, references to "Breaking Bad," the Atlanta Braves and college football. Tweet us @ledgerenquirer and we may add yours to the list:
Never miss a local story.
