Columbus public dog park to have grand opening Saturday

Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson will be present Saturday for a ribbon cutting at the grand opening of the Oxbow Meadows Community Support Facilities. Festivities will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the event hosted by the Columbus Consolidated Government Parks and Recreation Department and Public Works Department, Animal Care and Control Section. Located at the South Lumpkin Road location are a festival field and pavilion but what will likely be of most interest to residents will be the dog park.
