Lack of illumination on Roderick Alexander's tag led to his eventual arrest Wednesday after police found 3.2 grams of cocaine in his vehicle, according to a Columbus Police report.
Alexander was stopped at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of 16th Avenue and 25 Street in his Ford Focus. Police valued the cocaine they found in the car at $320.
Alexander was charged with failure to illuminate tags and cocaine possession with intent to distribute. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
