A truck driver discovered his mother's shed had been broken into and more than $20,000 worth of property stolen after a neighbor alerted him that his mother's AC units were missing, according to a Columbus Police report.
The truck driver told police his 83-year-old mother has been staying in Arizona for several months, and that a nearby neighbor was watching her 4400 block Tracy Street home. Recently, the neighbor called him to say two of his mother's AC units seemed to be missing.
He stopped by the truck, and found the shed open. A Snapper lawn mower was missing, along with a small refrigerator.
