Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Fraud Department are looking for suspects who used stolen credit cards to make purchases or bank withdrawals.
A thief went to a Wells Fargo ATM at Midtown Medical Center on Nov. 1 and used a lost credit card from a Columbus Bank and Trust Company account to withdraw $600.
The suspect making the withdrawal is black, about 18-22 years old. He had shoulder-length dreadlocks, a dark shirt and light colored blue jeans.
Four weeks later, a separate transaction occurred between Nov. 27 and Dec. 9 with a lost debit card. Using images from surveillance images from one of the businesses, a man and woman were described.
Never miss a local story.
Both are white. The man is 30-35 years old, with a thin frame and tattoos. The woman is about 30-years-old with thin build and dark hair. The suspects were in a light green, late model 2005-2009 Ford Mustang.
You could receive a reward of up to $1,000 if your information leads to an arrest and indictment. You don’t have to give your name but you will be given a number for identification.
