Darby Britto has been named director of public relations and marketing at Historic Westville in Lumpkin, Ga. She is expected to play a pivotal role in the publicity of Westville's future move to a new location in south Columbus once funds are raised for relocating its structures.
Britto has held a variety of media positions, including broadcast producer, director and manager in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Ohio, Texas and Oregon. She began her career with WAGA-TV in Atlanta and has worked at Cox Broadcasting's WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio, KATU-TV in Portland, Ore. Prior to joining Westville, she was a strategic researcher for Pam Pulner and Associates in Washington, D.C., where she identified prospective job candidates for placement in broadcasting.
Britto's new job brings her back to Columbus and Fort Benning where she grew up. She is a graduate of Baker High School in Columbus and a graduate of the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism. She also is the current president of the North Words Toastmasters Club and a vice president of publicity for the Columbus Artists' Guild.
Braswell elected chairman of printing and imaging association's board

Fred Braswell, senior director of manufacturing for Columbus Productions, has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia. His election for a two-year term was recently confirmed at the association's annual meeting in Smyrna, Ga. Founded in 1894, the association represents more than 400 companies in Georgia in the printing and graphic communications industry and is an affiliate of Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Printing Industries of America.
