TRENTON, N.J. -- The Columbus Lions put a steady stream of points on the board against Trenton Saturday night, but it was the Freedom that came away with the 66-63 win.
The Lions had a 28-14 lead in the first half, but the Freedom rallied to cut the deficit to 35-30 at halftime.
Columbus was outscored 20-14 in the third quarter, and Trenton took a 50-49 lead into the fourth.
The Lions put up 17 points to the Freedom's 16 in the final quarter, but a second-half safety and a two-point conversion by Trenton were enough to decide the outcome.

Columbus (2-2) will host the Georgia Fire Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Columbus Civic Center.
