A third-grade team from Fox Elementary has earned the Best Movie Honor (grades 3-5 category) from the Georgia Movie Academy for "A Day in the Life of Being Brave" video. In the movie, the students portrayed acts of bravery to show others how important it is to face challenges and to be courageous by helping others. The digital, storytelling project-based learning opportunity allowed students to work in teams to produce a theme-based, standards-based, three minute video on a topic of choice. The competition is sponsored by the Educational Technology Centers in the state of Georgia for grades k through 12. The team consists of, from left, front row, Hannah Thomas, Kenya Pickard, and Inge Camacho. Back row, Jaden Crawford, Nehemiah Moore, Timothy Trotter and Terry Price.
