School briefs

The March 2014 edition of the Cougar Roar earned a second place certificate in a national competition juried by the American Scholastic Press Association this spring. The competition includes schools from all over the country and is judged under several categories. This is the first time the newspaper has been entered into the competition and it earned perfect scores in 7 of 11 categories of "Content Coverage."
