A 26-year-old Columbus man was stabbed in the neck during a knife attack early Friday outside his 988 Farr Road home, police said.
The victim also was treated for cuts to his shoulder at Midtown Medical Center where he was in critical condition.
Police said they were called to a Conner Road address on a possible shooting when they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. An investigation revealed the attack occurred sometime between 2 a.m. and 2:33 a.m. outside his mobile home.
At the scene, police said a heavyset woman was identified as a suspect in the assault. The victim said his attacker was a 23-25 year old woman but he didn’t know her name.
The attack remained under investigation late Friday, police said.
