Two men and a woman were wounded after gunfire erupted in the parking lot on Baker Plaza Drive early today.
All the victims were taken by private vehicle to Midtown Medical Center after the 3:15 a.m. shooting at 3815 Baker Plaza Drive. Police identified them as a 28-year-old Fort Benning soldier with gunshot wounds to his back and stomach, a 20-year-old woman with a bullet wound to the right thigh and a 28-year-old with a gunshot wound to the right elbow.
The soldier had the most serious wounds and was in critical condition while the other man and woman were listed in stable condition at the hospital, police said in a report.
Police were called to the apartment complex to check on a shooting when a witness said at least three people were injured during some kind of dispute.
None of the victims was a resident of the apartment complex.
No arrest have been made in connection with the shooting, which remains under investigation.
