CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College pitcher Mike King pitched a one-hitter as Boston College edged Georgia Tech 1-0 on Friday in the opening game of a three-game ACC series.
King (1-2) allowed the one hit with one out in the first inning to Keenan Innis. The Jackets' only other base-runner was Daniel Spingola, who led off with a walk in the fourth.
Boston College (19-18, 7-11) had only five hits off Tech starter Jonathan King. But the Eagles put together three straight hits with two outs in the second to score a run.
Tech is 24-13 overall and 9-10 in the ACC.
