Kristen Carr homered twice and drove in four runs Saturday to lead Columbus State to a 9-3 win over Flagler in the first game of a doubleheader.
Flagler rallied from a 4-0 deficit to take the second game 5-4.
In Game 1, Lindsey DeFee had a big day at the plate and on the mound. She went 3-for-3, homering twice and driving in three runs. DeFee (5-12) also picked up the win, allowing three runs on six hits in 5 1-3 innings. Keeli Waugh and Calli Star also hit solo homers for the Lady Cougars. The Cougars were up 8-0 by the second inning and cruised home.
In Game 2, CSU jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first after Carr's three-run double. Flagler rallied for four in the fourth, a go-ahead run in the fifth and held on for the win.
Star went 3-for-4 with two doubles for CSU.
Sydney Barker (1-2) allowed six hits over 3 1-3 innings but gave up the run in the fifth inning and took the loss.
CSU (22-26, 7-15) had two games scheduled with Georgia Southwestern Friday. Those games were postponed due to rain.
