MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- Columbus State softball player Kailey Boone was named to the All-Peach Belt Conference first team.
Boone was one of 16 players named to the team. She was the only CSU player.
Boone, a junior college transfer from Souther Union Community College, led CSU in batting with a .361 average with six homers and 27 RBI. She also had 10 doubles and 22 runs scored.
Former Glenwood standout Ollivia McLemore, now a pitcher for Armstrong State, made the second team. This was the second straight year McLemore made the all-PBC team.
