OXFORD, Miss. -- Colby Bortles went 3-for-4 with a homer and drove in five runs to lead Ole Miss to a 10-2 win over Alabama Saturday in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.
The Rebels built a 6-1 lead by the fourth inning and coasted home.
Georgie Salem went 2-for-4 for the Tide in the loss.
Taylor Guilbeau (2-4) allowed four runs on nine hits in three innings and took the loss for Alabama.
Christian Trent (6-4) allowed two runs on six hits over eight innings and got the win.
Alabama's game at Ole Miss on Friday night was postponed due to rain and rescheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. The teams were to play the second game, regularly scheduled game at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Alabama is 22-19 overall and 7-12 in the SEC. Ole Miss is 22-21 and 9-10.
The two teams are set to play the final game of the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
