Alabama signs Memphis transfer Nick King
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson made a big splash in recruiting Saturday.
Forward Nick King, who transferred from Memphis, has committed to Alabama, according to ESPN. King took an official visit to Alabama this week.
King will have two years of eligibility remaining after he sits out for the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

King, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward, is a former top 50 national recruit from the 2013 cycle. As a sophomore at Memphis this season, he averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while making seven starts.
