AUBURN, Ala. -- Former CVCC pitcher Dalton Rentz spread four hits over 4 2-3 innings to lead Auburn to a 4-1 win over Georgia and a sweep of the three-game series.
Trevor Kieboom (CVCC) went 3-for-4 for Georgia, but the Bulldogs couldn't put hits together. The scored their lone run on a bases-loaded walk in the top of the eighth inning.
Daniel Robert singled in Auburn's first run in the bottom of the first. The Tigers struck for three runs in the sixth inning.
Auburn is now 29-16 and 10-11 in the Southeastern Conference. Georgia is 21-23 and 6-14.
