Police are investigating a homicide in Loganville, Ga., where they say four children and an adult male were found stabbed to death in their home.
One child was found alive and was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, police say. Officers were called to the scene on Emory Lane after a 911 call Thursday morning.
One suspect has been detained, whom police identified as the wife of the man and mother of the children. Police confirmed that all children were under the age of 10, and the man was in his mid-30s.
Police spokesperson Corporal Michele Pihera told WSB that she believes they have identified all suspects in the crime.
"I don't want anybody in this community to think that we've got a mad person running around trying to stab somebody,” she said.
No motive, identities or further details are available at this time.
