Columbus police are searching for 6-10 suspects in shooting death of Brandon Scott on Rigdon Road

Columbus police are seeking information on 6-10 males who may have been involved in the shooting death of 34-year-old Brandon Scott of Phenix City on July 7.

According to a police report, it was reported that the males approached the residence and multiple gunshots were fired.

It was around 2 a.m. that officers found Scott and Rashaun Howard suffering from gunshot wounds at a house on Rigdon Road.

The two were transported to Midtown Medical Center where Scott died. Howard is in critical condition in an Atlanta hospital.

The patrol division also received a call that morning to a residence on 33rd Avenue in reference to another victim.

Officers found Gerald Douglas suffering from a gunshot wound. It was determined he was also injured at the house where the shooting took place on Rigdon Road.

Douglas was taken to Midtown Medical Center for his wounds which were not life threatening.
