A Columbus man is accused of firing shots at Club Fetish bouncers in the parking lot of the 4504 Armour Road business.
Dontavis Matthews, 26, was taken into custody at 1:03 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of Cusseta Road. He was charged with three counts of felony criminal damage to property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He is held in the Muscogee County Jail for a 9 a.m. Friday hearing in Recorder’s Court.
Police said an armed suspect was in the parking lot of the strip club. He is accused of firing shots at bouncers but ended up striking several vehicles in the parking lot as well as the club.
Other than the property damage, no one was injured in the shooting.
