A Phenix City man was allegedly found with more than $1,000 worth of drugs early Sunday near Victory Drive and Ticknor Drive, authorities said.
Jeddy Wilson Jr., 36, was taken into custody on the scene. He was booked into the Muscogee County Jail for a 2 p.m. Monday hearing in Recorder's Court.
A Columbus police officer said he was conducting a field investigation near Victory Drive and Ticknor Drive around 1:45 a.m. Sunday when he found Wilson with an assortment of drugs.
Among the evidence found was one .380 semi-automatic handgun (worth $75), three hydrocodone pills (street value of $60), .2 grams of cocaine (street value of $20), five Ecstasy pills (street value of $125), six grams of meth (street value of $600), 21.5 grams of marijuana (street value of $215), 3.5 grams of molly (street value of $305) and one empty bottle of Corona beer.

Wilson was charged with one count each of possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of hydrocodone, possession of Ecstasy, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
