A dispute on Elm Drive has left one man shot in the left thigh and another charged in connection with the Friday shooting, Columbus police said .
Kraig Alan Lisenby , 27, was taken into custody about 10:35 a.m. Friday at the scene of the shooting and held in the Muscogee County Jail, police said. He was charged with one count each of aggravated assault, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. A Recorder’s Court hearing is set for 2 p.m. Thursday.
No condition report was available on the victim in the shooting.
Police said they were called to Elm Drive to check on a shooting. The suspect said he and another man were arguing when it turned physical.
The victim was shot in the left thigh with a .22-caliber revolver that was reported stolen.
