All right, let's not waste any time with the latest:
David Brown, 49, was arrested on Saturday and charged with terroristic threats and acts and stalking. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but his Muscogee County jail log shows two additional charges - theft by deception and impersonating a police officer.
CPD didn't have an arrest report on the last two charges, so I trudged back over to the jail to find out what was up. Turns out Brown was arrested some time ago on the theft and impersonating charges and made bond. When he was rearrested Saturday, his bondsman pulled the bond on his earlier charges, meaning all four charges showed up on jail logs, sheriff's officials said.
So, what does all this mean for Brown? Well, if you can't find a bondsman to get you out, then the jail is where you stay, regardless of what your charges are.
