The third suspect linked by authorities to the River Road Pharmacy arson was arrested today, jail officials said.
Michael Lowery, 29, was taken into custody at 1:20 p.m. on Stark Avenue. He’s charged with two counts of first-degree arson and one count of second-degree criminal damage to property, Muscogee County Jail officials said.
Lowery, along with 49-year-old Lillian Dion Burkett, and 27-year-old Bobby Jo Burkett, all of Columbus, are accused of setting fire to the pharmacy at 5100 River Road on Sept. 27, Fire Marshal Thomas Streeter has said.
Lowery’s Columbus Recorder’s Court hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday.
