Impersonating an officer

The following report isn't the first time in the past few weeks of someone complaining about people impersonating law enforcement. Is it because of the time of year? Columbus police reports don't say, but what they do show is that two guys were inside a woman's home when the chicanery went down.

    Quamae Bellamy, 27, pleaded not guilty to one count each of reckless conduct (HIV), obstruction and criminal trespassing and two counts each of aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer and animal cruelty. He was accused of striking three dogs with a PVC pipe and attacking three Columbus police officers.
