A man accused of setting fire to the Cartersville Spinning Mill pleaded guilty last week to the offense, authorities said.
Frederick Bryant, 51, also known as Michael Coultes, pleaded guilty on Thursday to arson in connection with the Oct. 23, 2005, fire, court records state. The case against co-defendant Gail Louise Setters, 38, also known as Paula Coultes, remains pending.
Bryant faces between five and 20 years in prison and a possible fine of up to $250,000. His sentencing hasn’t yet been scheduled, records state.
