Columbus police are looking for a vehicle spotted near the Northside High School bus that had what may have been a bullet strike its window Friday night.
The bus, carrying the school’s football team, was headed north on I-185 near the Buena Vista Road exit when something struck a window and exited a window on the other side, states Northside Principal James Wilson in an e-mail.
On Sunday, Lt. John McMichael said a nearby bus driver spotted what might have been a gold Mercury Grand Marquis with three people inside at the time the object went through the window. The lieutenant added that someone saw one of the people in the car with something in his hand as he held it outside the vehicle.
Wilson says in his e-mail that no one was injured. Additional security will be on the school’s campus, he adds.
