A warrant was issued for Donald Fair, 20, Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of David Scott earlier this month.
He joins Tyrecquiss Wells, Jayln Dixon, Christopher Pender and Christopher Whitaker -- who were charged with murder this week.
Detectives said the men opened fire on Scott’s vehicle, at the intersection of Seventh Street and Coolidge Avenue, with three separate weapons: a .45-caliber, a 9mm and a .223-caliber AR-15. They fired 30 shots.
Scott died in the hospital at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 20 after being shot in the head. His passenger was uninjured.
Pender is under guard in the hospital after one of his accomplices hit him with a bullet. He will be arrested upon his release, police said.
Wells, Dixon, Pender and Whitaker also face charges in a shooting and robbery on Baltic Court just hours before Scott’s death.
The truck they used, a stolen 2003 Ford F-150, was later found burned on Bayberry Drive at Buena Vista Road.
Detectives said in court Friday that Wells, Dixon, Whitaker and Pender rode in the truck’s cab while a fifth -- unnamed -- gunman was in the truck bed.
At a preliminary court hearing on Friday, Judge Michael Cielinski ordered Wells, Dixon and Whitaker held without bond for prosecution in Muscogee Superior Court.
