A 26-year-old man was met by police at Midtown Medical Center (formerly The Medical Center) Tuesday night after being struck on the face and stabbed in the arm by unnamed — but not unknown — female assailants.
Officers spoke with the victim at about 6:15 p.m., who advised them that a black woman hit him beneath his left eye, causing a 1-inch laceration, at the intersection of 24th Street and 16th Avenue.
The weapon used is described as a hard object; the woman is described as light-skinned, approximately 5'07", 250 lbs with long brown micro braids.
The man was also stabbed in the right arm by another black woman, described as dark-skinned, approximately 5'06", 200 lbs with a short brown weave. She allegedly used a sharp object — possibly scissors or a knife, according to the report.
The aggravated assault and battery were not reported as stranger-to-stranger, indicating that the victim and his attackers knew each other, even if he did not know their names (which are listed as unknown).
The case remains under investigation.
