An ex-University of Georgia employee was being held without bond Wednesday after being arrested on more than 40 charges of sexual exploitation of a child earlier this week.
Jeffrey Wall Delk, 51, was arrested Tuesday and charged with 43 counts of child exploitation. According to the Athens Banner-Herald, the arrest came after police searched Delk's Athens home, seizing his computer and cell phone.
Police told the ABH that UGA police had been asked to assist in the investigation, providing evidence on the phone and computer that were ultimately seized.
More charges are possible, police said.

Until recently, Delk was the assistant director for gift and estate planning in UGA’s Development & Alumni Relations division. He resigned during the police investigation, which began with information from the GBI's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
