A 27-year-old man is accused of snatching $120 worth of scratch-off tickets from the Williams Way Summit Food Store, according to a Columbus Police report.
Tyrone Cody faced a theft by taking charge Thursday during a Recorder's Court hearing.
After closing the store, the owner of the 8200 block gas station noticed that the cash register was short about $120. He then reviewed the tapes which showed Cody grabbing the tickets from behind the counter, an officer told the court.
When officers confronted Cody about the theft, he had four scratch-off tickets inside his work bag, the officer said.
