Jackson Elementary School in Jonesboro, Ga., is under investigation amid reports that four of its kindergarten students engaged in "sexually inappropriate" activity in the classroom, according to the AJC .
"We are taking this very seriously," Clayton County schools spokesperson Vicki Gavalas said. "We are conducting a thorough investigation of what happened."
The paper reports that, "(One) woman's daughter gave investigators a statement that the four children on multiple occasions engaged in sexual activity so abnormal, the girl's mother took her to the doctor to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases."
"Where was (the) teacher?" the mother told Channel 2 Action News. "Why didn't nobody see it? Why didn't nobody stop it?"
