A 14-year-old was left with lacerations to her neck and face after she was battered outside an Eighth Avenue apartment, according to a Columbus Police report.

The teen told police she was in the yard of the apartment at about 4 p.m., Tuesday, when she was attacked by a person she knew. Her head and eyes were also bruised during the incident.
