An 18-year-old Florida man who allegedly sexually assaulted a young boy was himself assaulted when the victim's father returned home and witnessed the act in progress, according to reports.
Daytona Beach police say Raymond Frolander was left to babysit his next-door neighbor when the father "walked in and caught Frolander sexually battering his son," according to News 13.
Police say the father, 35, immediately took action to prevent Frolander from leaving the scene. Officers responded at about 1 p.m. Friday.
“I got him in a bloody puddle for you officer,” the father told the dispatcher in his 911 call, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
The victim, who is younger than 12, said in subsequent interviews with police that Frolander has been assaulting him since he was 8 years old. According to an arrest affidavit, Frolander admitted to the relationship.
Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under the age of 12; he is held without bail.
Police said the victim's father has not been charged.
