Two women told police Monday they were attacked by a group of women who crashed a housewarming party near River Road and Manchester Expressway, according to a Columbus police report.
The victims told police they were at the party around 4 p.m. Sunday when a group of women showed up intending to fight. One suspect hit the 24-year-old victim in the head, right hand and stomach with a metal rod. The same suspect then hit the 23-year-old victim in the face, the victims told police.
The suspect was described as a light skinned, "short and fat" black woman in her 40s. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and black pants.
The women did not go to the Midtown Medical Center immediately because they attempted to treat their own injuries. They waived prosecution, according to the report.
