A cracked windshield — and 4.5 grams of crack cocaine and more than $1,700 — landed one Columbus woman behind bars Wednesday night, according to a Columbus police report.
Chevon Pierce, 37, was traveling at the intersection of Billings Road and Warm Springs Road at about 5:55 p.m. when an officer stopped her because her 1997 Crown Victoria had a cracked windshield, according to the report.
Subsequent investigation determined that Pierce had switched the vehicle's tags.
A search discovered 4.5 grams of cocaine and $1,728 in Pierce's possession, according to the report.
Pierce was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and three traffic violations for her windshield and switched tag.
