A homeless man with no shirt was arrested Friday at WRBL on 13th Avenue after he threatened employees with a pipe, Columbus police said.
Cedric Phillips, 37, was arrested just before midnight at the 1350 13th Ave. news station. He was held in Muscogee County Jail where he faces one count each of making terroristic threats and criminal trespassing. A Recorder's Court hearing is set for 9 a.m. Monday.
Police were called to the area at 11:40 p.m. to check on a dispute when they learned a man with no shirt and blue jeans had entered the news station and threatened employees with a pipe. Police said the man threatened to mess up everyone.
