The man police believe is responsible for the shooting death of 25-year-old Marquise Shivers waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday morning.
Otis Perry, who turned himself to authorities at the Muscogee County Jail Friday, pleaded not guilty to one count each of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Recorder's Court Judge Michael Cielinski denied Perry bond for the murder charge and issued him a $25,000 bond for the weapon charge.
The case was bound over to Superior Court.
