The 33-year-old man accused of stealing a 2003 Ford Econoline Van from the 5500 block of St. Marys Road appeared in Recorder's Court Thursday.
Baron Bernard Randall, who gave a Lumpkin, Ga. address, pleaded guilty to theft by taking motor vehicle in relation to the St. Marys Road incident.
Because the suspect pleaded guilty, Judge Michael Cielinski waived the preliminary hearing and immediately ordered that Randall be held in the Muscogee County Jail under a $13,000 bond.
The case was bound over to Superior Court.
The day and time when Randall allegedly stole the $13,000 vehicle was not mention in the arrest report court or during Recorder's Court Thursday.
Records show that Randall was arrested Monday at 11:10 a.m. inside of the Crisp County Sheriff's Office. The office is located at 197 Highway 300 South in Cordele, Ga.
