The victim of what appeared to be an armed robbery was shot multiple times Friday in a residence on Harbison Drive, according to authorities.
Now in stable condition, the 31-year-old Columbus man was transported to the Midtown Medical Center for treatment, Columbus Police Sgt. Lance Deaton said on the scene.
Maj. Gil Slouchick of the Investigative Services Bureau said the man sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and leg but his injuries are not considered life threatening.
Investigators have been unable to talk to the victim to learn more about a motive in the shooting.

Deaton said there may have been two offenders involved, but descriptions of the suspects are not available at this time, the official said.
Other people were inside of the house in the 1000 block of Harbison Drive when the apparent armed robbery took place at about 10:20 a.m. The only one injured was the 31-year-old gunshot victim, Deaton said.
Officials have not determined if anything was taken or what type of gun was used in the incident, Deaton said.
Witnesses left the scene with police to give a statement.
