A weekend burglary on Carson Drive resulted in more than $1,000 worth of items and $1,000 worth of property damage, Columbus police said.
Officials are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident, but they have not apprehended or identified any suspects at this time, according to reports.
An officer said he was called to the scene Sunday at 5:02 p.m. in response to the reported first-degree burglary.
He learned that the burglar took a $1,000 silver Mac laptop, $700 Dell laptop and $250 Beats headphones from the residence in the 2900 block of Carson Drive between Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., according to police records.
The offender forced his way through the east bathroom window to steal the items and left through the same window, he said.
