A Phenix City man was physically harmed and stripped of $479 worth of property during a Wednesday robbery in the 400 block of Third Avenue, according to a Columbus police report.
In good condition, the 56-year-old victim told police he was cut on the left forearm with a sharp object. He didn't receive medical treatment for the 1-inch laceration, officials said.
Reports show that police have not made any arrests or provided a description of the robber or robbers.
On Wednesday at 12:35 a.m., Columbus authorities were called to the Circle K gas station in the 200 block of Fourth Street in reference to an individual with a cut on his left forearm.
When they arrived, the victim informed police that his $339 LG cell phone and $140 were stolen between 12:20 a.m. and 12:35 a.m.
The robbery remains under investigation.
