Officials have not yet to identify or arrest the group of men who reportedely held a 36-year-old woman and 35-year-old man at gunpoint Saturday during a carjacking on Thomas Street, according to Columbus police report.
The woman was not injured, but the man sustained a cut to his upper lip and left eye as a result of the Saturday night incident. Treated by medics, the male is in good condition, police said.
Two officials said they were called to the 2900 block of Ninth Street in regards to a carjacking that happened at a separate location.
They were told that five to six men in their late 20's robbed the Columbus residents at gunpoint in the 2900 block of Thomas Street. At approximately 11 p.m., the suspects stole a $12,000 1996 Chevrolet Caprice, $50 flip phone and $800 from the 35-year-old man, police said

At some point, a pistol was fired in the air, police said.
The vehicle was recovered the following day at about 12:42 p.m., according to the report.
