A 41-year-old Columbus man stabbed in an unspecified location Monday evening is in poor condition, Columbus police said.
Officials have yet to identify the suspect, according to the report.
In the report, police said they were called to an area near the 300 block of 27th Street in reference to the stabbing, but they aren't certain where the incident occurred.
Authorities said the man was attacked with an unknown object between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. He was transported to the Midtown Medical Center to be treated for a puncture wound to the left side of his ribs following the assault.
