A Seale, Ala. teen is facing eight felonies and three misdemeanors connected to multiple car burglaries and thefts, according to a release.
Charles Edward Turnage, 19, was arrested 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Opelika Police Department, police said. He was charged with two counts each of first-degree receiving stolen property and unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, three counts of first-degree theft of property and one count each of second-degree theft of property, attempted burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and attempting to flee, Capt. Shane Healey said in the release.
Turnage was placed in the Lee County Detention Center, Healey said.
